Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you: aquarel at Harteklop!

How did we suddenly come up with that?

Ever since corona, things have been very difficult financially in Harteklop, and we have been looking for

all kinds of creative ways to find solutions.

For instance, we started with 3 options for all our rates: basic price, support price and extra support price. You are responding to this in a massively positive and supportive way, for which we thank you very much!

Furthermore, we continue to talk to many people and look for additional funds. During those brainstorms, Vonnie, Annemie's sympathetic mum, came up with the proposal to organise a watercolour course for the benefit of Harteklop.

Vonnie has been giving watercolour courses in Aalst for years in a very nice way, in a similar relaxed atmosphere, basically the same way we give music lessons in Harteklop.

Special fact: it was also Vonnie who gave Annemie the idea to found Harteklop in 2006! Without a doubt a stroke of genius :-)))

Below you will find all the info about the Aquarel course she will be teaching for Harteklop:

Intuitive Aquarel (for adult beginners)

While painting, you will learn some basic techniques in a simple way.
The lessons proceed at a leisurely pace.
Everything is fully demonstrated and explained step by step.
We use the watercolours from intuition, from your feelings.

No prior knowledge is required.

It suffices that you feel attracted to the 'aquarel'.

Materials will be provided for you, so there is no need to bring anything with you.
If you already have paint, brushes or paper at home, you may of course bring it, but it is not necessary.

When: Wednesdays from 19h to 21h30
Dates: 17/1, 24/1, 31/1, 7/2, 21/2 & 28/2
Basic price: 150 € (for the series of 6 lessons of 2.5h)
Support fee: 172 € (for the series of 6 lessons of 2.5h)
Extra support price: € 199 (for the series of 6 lessons of 2.5h)

Please note: this course does not take place in Harteklop itself, but in a larger hall with sufficient tables and chairs.
